  • The primary ethnic group in Nkum Municipality is the Nso people. The Nso are the descendants of Ngonso, and their culture and traditions are central to the identity of the municipality. Other ethnic groups in the region include the Mbororos, who are a marginalized population, and various smaller groups who have settled in the region over time​
